Record order for Versalift

BT order

BT Openreach, a leading UK communications services company, has placed its biggest van mounted platform order with Versalift UK. The order also includes a number of truck and chassis mounted platforms.

The 70-strong van mounted order is for the Versalift ETM38-F E6 model mounted on IVECO Daily 50C. The units include Load Moment Control (LMC), intelligent outreach and LV insulation. A mainstay of the BT Openreach fleet, they have a working height of 14.3m and an outreach of 9m, a bucket capacity of 230kg and 1000kg of spare payload after fitted BT options.

BT Openreach is responsible for installing and maintaining communication networks connecting homes and businesses in the UK. This latest order represents a significant part of a huge investment in access fleet, said Andy Bray, Versalift UK’s general manager/director. “The two companies have a long-established working relationship and we are delighted to continue developing Openreach access fleet.
