Riwal expands in Europe

27 November 2015

Netherlands-based Riwal has opened new depots in Belgium, Denmark and Sweden.

Antwerp is the second largest city in Belgium and home to one of the largest ports in Europe. This depot will mainly focus on the Northwestern area of Belgium and the regions surrounding Antwerp harbor, including customers in the expanding chemical and refinery industries and port terminals.

Esbjerg is the fifth largest city in Denmark, situated at the far west of the country. With depots in the four largest cities already, Esbjerg was the logical choice to open a new one, said the rental company. Its location will allow growth to customers in offshore oil and wind-energy.

With one depot in Malmö, Riwal has now opened its second depot in Sweden, located in Gothenburg, the country’s second largest city. Gothenburg is growing rapidly, reflected by the developments in infrastructure with the construction of tunnels and bridges, as well as increased residential construction and a new hospital.

Norty Turner, Riwal’s CEO, said, “With our depot expansion in Europe, we will reach out even further to bring access solutions to both existing as well as new customers, allowing them to complete their projects safely and efficiently. By having the right people and equipment close by we can increase our response time and support our vision to deliver the best customer experience in the industry.”
