XSPlatforms has introduced the RockSolid to prevent falls from roofs.

In the absence of permanent fall protection, the RockSolid deadwight anchor point is designed as a safe and user-friendly solution for workers on roofs.

The RockSolid can be installed and transported by one person, and is therefore particularly suitable for temporary work, said the company.

"The RockSolid offers the best ease of use for anyone who often has to work on roofs without permanent fall protection, such as guardrails and horizontal lifelines," said a company spokesman. "It is easy to assemble at the ground and then raise to roof level using, for instance, a construction crane."

The RockSolid is used in combination with protective equipment, such as harnesses, lanyards and fall arrest devices.
