SC&RA Job of the Year winners

Winners of the annual SC&RA Job of the Year competition were announced at the Association's Annual Conference in Florida, US, during the Closing Night Awards & Recognition Dinner on Saturday 19 April.

In the Rigging Job of the Year, for the job worth more than US$750,000, the winner was Barnhart, Alabama, US. Barnhart also won the $150,000 to $750,000 category of the Rigging Job of the Year. Vanguard Rigging Ltd from South Africa won the under $150,000 category of the Rigging Job of the Year.

In the Hauling Job of the Year there were two winning companies. Fagioli SpA, based in Italy, won the Moving Job category. Both trucking categories (under 160,000 pounds net and over 160,000 pounds net) were won by Emmert International, headquartered in Oregon, US. • See the SC&RA news section in this issue for more details on the Annual Conference and see the June issue of IC for full details and write-ups on the jobs.
