The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) has elected its slate of officers for the 2014 to 2015 term. The election was held during the Annual Conference, 22-26 April, at Boca Raton, Florida, USA.

Alan Barnhart, Memphis, Tennessee, USA, was elected as president. Joining Barnhart are the following:

Chairman: Ron Montgomery, Intermountain Rigging and Heavy

Haul, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

Vice president: Bruce Forster, Rigging Gear Sales, Dixon, Illinois, USA.

Treasurer: Delynn Burkhalter, Burkhalter, Columbus, Mississippi, USA.

Assistant treasurer: John McTyre Sr., McTyre Trucking, Orlando, Florida, USA.

Also joining the board are four newly elected group chairs:

Allied Industries Group: Eddy Kitchen, Kitchen’s Crane & Equipment, Chesterfield, Virginia, USA.

Crane & Rigging Group: Larry Curran, J.J. Curran Crane Company, Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Transportation Group: Jay Folladori, Landstar Transportation Logistics, Jacksonville, Florida, USA.

Ladies Group: Karen Wood, Wheco Corporation, Richland, Washington, USA.

The new officers will serve one-year terms that expire at the association’s next Annual Conference, from 14 to 18 April 2015 at the La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, USA.

Also elected were six new Board members to serve for three years as follows:

Michael Connelly, Connelly Crane Rental, Detroit, Michigan, USA.

David Cowley, Cowley & Associates, Longview, Texas, USA.

Geary Buchanan, Buchanan Hauling & Rigging, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA.

Richard Miller, Bigge Crane & Rigging, San Leandro, California, USA.

Gary Stang, Anderson Trucking Service, St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA.
