UK supplier of access and formwork products and services, SGB, will be changing its name to Harsco Infrastructure. The change will take effect from January 2010 and is part of a global re-branding being implemented by SGB's US based parent company Harsco Corporation.

Paul Holmes, Managing Director of SGB's UK operations said, "Harsco is committed to expanding its global involvement in the access and formwork sector. Its SGB, Hunnebeck (in Europe) and Patent (in North America) subsidiaries all have well established brands and reputations in their regions. As we expand our international presence we want to operate under a single name with the objective of becoming the global leader in our specialist field.

"Harsco Infrastructure will be our new divisional name, highlighting our focus on supporting customers in the construction and maintenance of essential infrastructure. This will parallel changes in Harsco sister divisions. The name change will be implemented progressively over the next 6 - 12 months."
