Registration is open for SC&RA's free webinar on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) programme on 11 July.

Navigating the Minefield of Motor Carrier Compliance - CSA Considerations and Key Intervention Techniques is on Wednesday 11 July at noon Eastern US time EDT.

The webinar will take participants beyond the basics of the CSA and drill down to the information they need as a carrier operating in a heavily regulated industry, SC&RA said. The session also will address the scope of CSA after the last round of changes and modifications and the pitfalls of how drivers and carriers are being measured.

Among areas to be covered are:

* How to "control and manage" your CSA scores to avoid failure

* Three types of safety events you must control to remain in compliance and avoid costly fines

* How CSA scores are used to determine premiums for insurance underwriting

* Current CSA intervention techniques and how to avoid a CSA Intervention altogether.

Presenting the session will be Jeff Davis, president of Fleet Safety Services. Davis is a certified director of safety with more than 25 years of experience in motor carrier safety management. His expertise includes motor carrier safety regulation management, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration compliance review preparation, civil forfeiture negotiations, accident investigation, deposition review, and claims mediation.
