Chinese manufacturer Sinoboom will supply SATORP (Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company) with 10 of its GTBZ30 32m working height telescopic booms for use in the construction of the company's newest oil refinery in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Already several of the Sinoboom GTBZ30s are in action on the site and Sinoboom says that the machines are performing well: they are designed for rough terrain with a 4 wheel drive and oscillating axle and are suitable for extreme climatic conditions as such as those in the desert.

Sinoboom says that this is a important contract: demonstrating that the company is making headway in diversified application fields as construction, ship building/repairing, maintenance, city planning and so on. The company expects to be supplying additional models from its range to the SATORP refinery project in the near future.

Sinoboom's range includes telescopic booms, articulated booms and scissor lifts with working heights from 4 to 44m. It has machines working in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Brazil, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Malaysia. Since the company began supplying aerial work platforms in 2007 it says, "Rich experiences have been built up based on the year-on-year on site usage verification, with products CE certificated by the world's authoritative certification company SGS, and passed by Australian ADR.
