Spanish rental company Gomez Oviedo has launched an online rental market called GO Rentalstore.

The company said GO Rentalstore (www.gorentalstore.com) was launched in response to the increasing importance of the Internet as a sales channel. It said the website allowed users to complete the whole rental process 100% online.

It added that currently, rental services from Gomez Oviedo were offered on the platform, but its mid-term plan was to include other rental companies on the site offering equipment for rent as well.

“It is the first machinery rental e-commerce in the regions where it operates and one of the few in Spain,” the company said.

“In just four quick steps users can select the equipment that they want for their desired dates, select if they want to collect the machines at one of GO depots or have them delivered to their premises or construction site, and complete the payment online.”

Gomez Oviedo was founded in 1947 and operates in Asturias, Cantabria and Madrid regions. It has four depots in Spain (Gijon, Oviedo, Santander and Madrid) and two depots in Panama (David and Santiago de Veraguas).

From electric hammesr, small gensets or rammers, to a 6 tonne excavator, a 400 kVA diesel genset or a dumper., the company said it offered equipment for the construction, energy, industrial, gardening, plumbing and events sectors.
