viAct, an Environmental, social, and corporate governance-focused artificial intelligence (AI) company, has partnered with Innocom Technologies Pte Ltd to improve the safety and productivity within construction in Singapore.

Hong Kong-based viAct and Innocom are said to have collaborated to adopt technologies to reduce accident rates and improve sustainability.

The company said that, despite Singapore making progress in making workplaces safer, there are still concerns over the number of workplace facilities taking place.

It has been reported that, with this partnership, Innocom becomes viAct’s exclusive distribution partner in Singapore and Malaysia. Innocom is the only Autodesk Platinum Partner in the southeast Asia region, while, viAct is the first AI monitoring partner of Autodesk in Asia with the integration of Autodesk Forge and BIM360.

viAct’s AI applications and software solutions in Singapore will run on Singtel Paragon – an all-in-one platform for 5G and Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) and services orchestration.

Paragon is said to allow enterprises to activate network slices on demand on Singtel’s 5G network and deploy various viAct applications on Singtel’s MEC. This enables them to get real-time situational awareness at worksites and help prevent accidents or respond to incidents promptly.
