Terex increased its sales +24% last year to US$ 7,65 billion (€ 5,87 billion). Its operating profit was up +92% to US$ 710 million (€ 542 million) and net profit more than doubled from US$ 188 million (€ 144 million) in 2005 to US$ 400 million (€ 305 million) last year.

Chairman & CEO Ron DeFeo said, “Our outlook for 2007 is strong and we expect to grow our franchise even more than we did in 2006. Our new medium term goal is, US$ 12 billion in net sales, with a 12% operating margin by the end of 2010.”
