CATT from Tunisia transported a 153 tonne, 16 x 7 m ferrule from the port of Sousse to the Polysius cement plant at Rouisset-Kairouan.

The road transport was not without complications, says CATT. Some 142 electric cables had to be disconnected and raised above the transport which took place a night to avoid major traffic.

The transport completed the 120 km journey in about 12 hours.
