Tracked dumper business launched in UK

22 June 2015

P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) and specialist plant hirer Land & Water Plant have teamed up to create a joint venture business to focus on the rental of tracked dumpers.

National Tracked Dumper Hire (NTD) has taken delivery of nine of the first slewing tracked dumpers manufactured in the world since 2010. These machines will bring the fleet to 40 units with a total investment in 2015 of £4 million (€5.6 million).

The senior teams of these businesses recognised an opportunity whereby the pooled resources and skills from both organisations could together offer a fresh approach to the rental of tracked dumpers in the UK.

Both organisations saw the need for a modern, reliable hire fleet of tracked dumpers, a fleet that would perform to the extremely high standards that both companies already operate to.

The company said it offers the latest, safest and most environmentally considerate fleet of tracked dumpers available in the country.

Having recognised the need for new slewing tracked dumpers, NTD’s senior team met with the UK’s dealer of Morooka Tracked dumpers (Cautrac) and visited Morooka in Japan to help it introduce a brand new slewing model.

During the visit, NTD was confident enough to give an order for nine units to be delivered in the first half of 2015. The MST 2200 VDR was launched at Intermat in April.
