Trackunit plans to showcase new fleet management technology developed specifically for mobile devices at the International Rental Exhibition.

Trackunit plans to showcase new fleet management technology developed specifically for mobile devices at the International Rental Exhibition (IRE).

The company said it would give IRE visitors an exclusive preview of its Trackunit Mobile Manager software – allowing fleet management via mobile devices. Visitors can find out more about the technology at the exhibition.

Its Trackunit 401 SmartID will also be demonstrated – a unique combination of fleet management technology and two user identification options in one, single box.

The technology is said to allow access control for machines using PIN codes and/or personal ID cards.

Head of sales at Trackunit, Jesper Rom Knudsen, said, “We are very excited to give the rental industry a sneak peak at the next generation fleet management software developed specifically for mobile devices.”

IRE takes place at the Amsterdam RAI venue in the Netherlands on 24-26 June, 2014.Those planning to attend are encouraged to register in advance to avoid paying a €20 ‘on-the-day’ fee. Visitors can pre-register online at www.IREshow.com.

The APEX access platform exhibition takes place in separate halls at the same venue over the same three days, as does the European Rental Association Convention.
