Versalift appoints Ireland service provider

Versalift has appointed Mooretown Precision Engineering as its new service provider for the Republic of Ireland.

In addition to the support available directly from Versalift, the appointment strengthens the company’s provision in aftersales and customer service in Ireland.

Established in 1999, Mooretown specialises in manufacturing, truck body building and access equipment maintenance. Its customer base includes councils, utility and telecom companies, electrical contractors, rental companies and end users, many of whom are existing Versalift customers.

Mooretown will provide repairs, inspections (GA1’s) servicing, refurbishments and warranty repairs for new and existing platforms, of which there are 1000 units, the majority of which are insulated. They will undertake.

Noel Carey, managing director for Mooretown, said, “Many of the companies we provide a service for have Versalift units and require back-up support and warranty here. We are investing in training for our team of engineers and look forward to continued successbetween our two companies.”

Neil Ashton, product support manager at Versalift UK, added, “This appointment will help us improve stock levels and increase the number of service engineers on the road to improve response times. We look forward to working with Noel and his team.
