Vp acquires Test & Measure Group

UK equipment rental company Vp has acquired electrical instrumentation and environmental test equipment specialist Test & Measurement Group for £3.95 million (€5.6 million).

Test & Measurement rents and sells equipment to the utilities, electrical engineering and oil and gas sectors across the UK. The business, which has been established for over 15 years, operates from two locations in Liverpool and Aberdeen.

Test & Measurement will operate within Vp's specialist safety, survey and communications equipment rental business, ESS Safeforce, part of the Hire Station division.

Vp chairman Jeremy Pilkington said, "We are very pleased to welcome the highly experienced Test & Measurement team to Vp. The acquisition of Test & Measurement is complementary to our well established, market leading, activities in the safety equipment rental sector."

Vp also owns the Grounforce, UK Forks, Airpac Bukom, Torrent Trackside, TPA and Hire Station brands.
