Wacker Neuson has dismissed Hans Neunteufel as the chairman of its Supervisory Board. Mr Neunteufel was the founder of Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen, and served as its CEO up until its merger with Wacker in 2007.

Wacker Neuson refuse to comment on why Mr Neunteufel was dismissed so abruptly, but it clearly expects there to be further ramifications. A statement from Wacker Neuson said, "The company assumes that legal proceedings will be taken against the aforementioned resolution."

Dr Ulrich Wacker, the previous vice chairman of the Supervisory Board, will take over a chairman until further notice.
