US construction contractor Webber has won three contracts to expand roadways in Texas, worth a combined total of $265 million.

Webber will expand SL 335 in Amarillo District, SH 99 in Houston District, and SL 378 in San Angelo District for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The SL 335 project, worth $134 million, comprises 5.6 miles of main lane extension and frontage road construction. Construction will begin in June of this year and is expected to be completed in late 2026.

Webber will also widen the SH 99 from West Park Tollway to IH-10 in Katy, in a deal worth $90 million. Work involves the broadening of 6.5 miles of the main lane, as well as the expansion of numerous bridges. Completion is expected in mid-2025.

For the third project, worth $40 million, the company will broaden SL 378. It will reconstruct two miles of the road to make room for a new, continuous center lane that will assist in alleviating traffic congestion. Construction will begin in August and is set to be completed by 2026.

Webber is a subsidiary of Spanish infrastructure company Ferrovial.
