World premiere for Hyundai wheeled loader

By Steve Ducker02 March 2017

Hyundai used last week’s Samoter exhibition in Italy to launch its new HL975 wheeled loader.

The company says that the machine, which had its world premiere at the show, is the result of thorough research among operators worldwide asking what they expected of the next generation of wheeled loaders.

The new HL975 has an operating weight of 26,500kg (58,420 Ib) and the latest Stage IV Cummins QSG12 engine with a maximum gross power of 250 kW at 2,100 rpm (net power 247 kW).

Higher efficiency air handling and advanced combustion enable the QSG12 to return to the simplicity of a wastegate turbocharger without the need for cooled exhaust gas recirculation. Combined with a diesel particulate filter, Stage IV emission levels are reached.

The power of the machine is evident in tough working environments, with the high-strength design structure and enduring system proven by rigorous tests at various work sites,

Durability of frames and attachments have been enhanced by 1.5 times compared to the previous generation 9-series.
