The OEM says that these machines have sustainability at the forefront and, “represent a significant leap towards reducing carbon footprints in heavy industries.”

Among the equipment showcased were new electric wheeled loaders, skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, and mining loaders. A newly launched hybrid loader, XC968-EV, is said to save over 35% in fuel consumption on average, compared to conventional fuel-powered loaders.

What the OEM says is China’s largest electric drive loader, XC9350, was also on display. This is reported to reduce fuel consumption by 25% and increase work efficiency by 20% compared to hydraulic drive loaders, making it suited for working with 120-180 ton mining trucks in open-pit mines.

At the event, attended by over 1,200 invited guests from over 60 countries and regions, the OEM also showed what it says is the world’s first hybrid all-terrain crane certified by CE and WVTA, the XCA60_EV, which offers plug-in, pure electric, and hybrid operation modes, significantly reducing operational costs by 40%.
