The Hartl name returns. Launching a new crushing and screening bucket range at bauma is Hartl Engineering & Marketing, consisting of eight models. The crusher buckets make use of a jaw principle incorporating what the company calls its Quattro movement, which generates an aggressive figure eight motion that allows crushing to begin high up on the jaw faces and also creates a post-crush in the lower sections of the crusher chamber as material leaves the crusher.

According to the company, the result is a high average performance rate with minimal wear and a quality cubical end product with a minimal percentage of oversized material. Hartl reports that independent tests confirm that the design of the bucket combined with this jaw movement results in up to 30% less flakey end product when compared to double jaw movement systems.
