Star appoints finance director

UK powered access company Star Platforms and temporary power specialist Star Power have announced the appointment of Michael Hooton’s to finance director. Hooten has been an integral finance team member at Star Platforms and Star Power for the last four years.

As finance director, Hooten will oversee the entire finance department and will be responsible for managing the group’s financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. He will work closely with the executive team to ensure Star’s financial goals align with its business objectives and will help guide the company’s financial decision-making.

Richard Miller, managing director at Star Platforms commented, “I am delighted to be able to announce Michael’s promotion to financial director. Michael has been with the business for four years, and his knowledge of both Star businesses is invaluable in driving the finance team forward in the coming years.”
