WDS keynote speaker announced

D&Ri is proud to announce that Mark Coleman, CEO of United Kingdom-based company Colemans, is to be a keynote speaker at this year’s World Demolition Summit, which will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on the 6 and 7 of November.

Colemans is a globally recognised and award-winning specialist in engineered deconstruction, demolition and remediation services, and Mark has a wealth of experience in the sector.

He has worked at Colemans for more than 30 years, where he continues to convey the family values on which his grandparents founded the business in 1962.

Leila Steed, Programme Organiser for the World Demolition Summit, said: “I’ve had some really interesting conversations with Mark over the past several months.

“He’s someone that is incredibly passionate about innovation and, as a result, is spearheading a number of projects that could one day bring new avenues of opportunity to the industry and help to make it safer.

“So, I’m particularly exciteded about the topic he’ll present at the 2024 World Demolition Summit.”

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), a member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers and an associate of the Institute of Explosive Engineers, Mark is widely recognised as an industry leader.

He actively promotes the sharing of knowledge and expertise among industry professionals around the world, and has been a longtime safety and sustainability advocate.

Under his leadership, Colemans has carried out works for some of the United Kingdom’s most challenging deconstruction and land remediation projects.

These include the Birmingham New Streets redevelopment into Grand Central , Sellafield Nuclear Site decommissioning and the regeneration of Waterloo International Rail Terminal.
