Canadian-based Manulift EMI will receive new high-capacity, all-terrain Merlo lifts this fall. The MPR 15/18 combines parts from Merlo's Roto telehandlers, a telehandler boom and a scissor lift deck to offer workers 360 degrees of rotation and a basket that can hold up to six people or 2,200 pounds.

The unit can travel at speeds of up to 31 mph and features platform heights of 50 to 60 feet. The MPR 15/18 features hydro-pneumatic suspension with automatic leveling, and class 1 hydrostatic transmission.

IT is designed for mining, refineries, seaports, quarries, hydroelectric power plants and airports, Manulift said.
