In addition to the 45 new Socage truck-mounted platforms that Access International recently reported being added to the Nacanco fleet. The Italian aerial platform specialist has bought 30 Braviisol Leonardo vertical mast machines and ten 8m Genie booms.

Nacanco said that the Leonardo platforms their 180kg capacity are particularly suitable in the construction of multi-storey buildings because of the light floor load as well as in maintenance and cleaning of buildings.

The Genie booms have a maximum capacity of 200kg and Nacanco said they are are especially effective in confined spaces, "They pass through the doors easily - they are highly valued for warehouse operations and, more generally, for goods handling in logistic centres."

The truck mounts comprise seven double articulated DA324, 22 m working height height models and 38 18m DA320s. Nacanco said, "This new range responds perfectly to the growing demand of truck-mounted platforms for the rental market. The reliability of both models, fully hydraulically operated, is also ensured by the use of Renault Maxity 110.35/5 AC L2 trucks, which offer a great residual capacity. In addition, the rear leaf springs are reinforced, which is an important feature for installations where the trucks travel at full load. These types of platforms are useful in different areas, from road maintenance to gardening and light and decoration installation. Among the advantages is the ease of use and the ability to drive them with the B license, which is an important factor that allows the rental of them even to unskilled operators."
