Volvo Construction Equipment senior vice president Carl Lockwood has been confirmed as one of the speakers at this year's CEWEF. The conference and networking event will be held at the Dolce La Hulpe Hotel in Brussels, Belgium on 1-2 October.

Entitled 'The way forward', Mr Lockwood's presentation will look at future trends in the construction equipment sector. "We will start from a customer view of the future needs for productivity, efficiency and environmental care outlining the technology opportunities for possible solutions the industry will have to meet these challenges," he said.

Mr Lockwood started his career with the Ford Motor Company working in various sales, marketing and product development roles. He joined Volvo Construction Equipment in 1998, holding a series of executive roles. He currently serves as senior vice president of strategy and business development and is responsible for the overall strategy for Volvo Construction equipment.
