Maber will launch a new range of transport platforms and construction hoists to complement its latest hoist for crane operators.

The MBCH200 hoist, designed for use with cranes, has a 200 kg capacity and was launched at bauma. It has an aluminum mast available in 25 kg, 2 m sections, and comes in two dimensions: 1.3 x 0.75 m and 2 x 0.75 m.

It lifts at 25 m/min and adheres to the incoming EN 81.43 crane standard that states by 2017 all cranes will be required to have operator lifts, said Diego Benetton, Maber sales manager.

The hoist has overload control and spring cable real. There is a self-breaking 2.2 kW motor and a standard emergency break. Mr Bennetton said a similar range for transport platforms and construction hoists will follow very shortly, due to requests from customers and the popularity of the MBCH200, not least at the bauma exhibition.

"Crane hoits like this will be become an increasing necessity with the new crane standards," Mr Bennetton added.
