The Time Quick Shift system with removable furniture lift

Denmark-based Time International has added a removable furniture lift to the list of compatible equipment for its Time Quick Shift system.

The furniture lift is capable of moving goods 21 m up apartment buildings from a pickup truck.

Earlier this year, Time International launched the equipment changing system Time Quick Shift that lets a pickup truck switch out an access platform with a new piece of equipment in a few minutes, allowing rental companies to use one vehicle for multiple functions.

The furniture lift, a Böcker Simply HD 21/1-5, can lift heavy objects including furniture, heavy moving boxes and construction equipment to be moved up tall or otherwise inaccessible apartment buildings.

The furniture lift is capable of transporting a payload of up to 250 kg between 5.65 and 21.10 m, using a hydraulic extendable rail system operated from the side of the cargo bay. The control panel includes hydraulic controls for the rotating turret that allows operators to turn the lift a total of 200° - 100° in either direction from the transport position – and thereby use the lift from a variety of parked angles.

No outriggers are required as the vehicle is stabilised by the Time patented axle locking system reducing the space and time needed to set up the lift.

The furniture lift is attached to a special mounting frame that is connected to the Time Quick Shift system on the cargo bay of the pickup truck. According to Time, attaching the lift takes no more than 15 minutes using an overhead crane or a forklift truck. It can be installed on a VW Amarok, Ford Ranger or Isuzu D-Max pickup truck.
