The first signs of Chinese manufacturers entering the screening sector are beginning to appear with one of the first of these being XCMG, who has launched a mobile screening unit developed jointly by itself, its German subsidiary XCMG Schwing and the Beijing University of Technology. The result is the 38 tonne tracked two deck MSP1561that is claimed to offer a throughput of 600 tonnes per hour. According to the company, the new screen should find application in recycling, mining and general construction.

With a 6.1 x 1.5 m (20 x 5 ft) screen box, it has a ground clearance of 343 mm (13.8 inch), can climb 9° inclines and features hydraulically extending/retracting conveyors to cut down on set-up time. Power comes from a 97 kW (130 hp) Cummins engine and transport dimensions are 18 x 3.3 x 3.5 m (59 x 10.9 x 11.5 ft). A smaller 300 tonnes per hour unit is also available. XCMG says the unit will be available to international markets shortly and is already on sale in China.
