Bridon, a manufacturer of steel and fibre rope, will host a series of technical seminars about offshore rope technology.

Following a successful event in Houston, USA, the company plans to host the next Future of Rope Technology seminar in Norway.

John Churchfield, Bridon group technology director, said, “Our event in Houston was very well attended and well received. This is a very pertinent series of seminars looking at the future of rope technology.

“The seminars will focus on the intelligent approach to solving rope performance issues offshore, current industry challenges, new products and how intelligent ropes can help business to reduce their operating costs.

“These seminars will be hosted in various different countries over the next few months and are a great way for Bridon to demonstrate its expertise in this field while helping businesses to understand just how far we’ve come with our products.”
