Kato CR-250Rv city crane for Davies Crane Hire

Davies Crane Hire in Wales has added a new 25 tonne Kato city crane to its fleet.

The Kato CR-250Rv was supplied by distributor Rivertek Services Ltd based in Ireland.

Davies has been in business for more than 40 years and has four depots, in Carmarthen, Port Talbot, Milford Haven and Cardiff. Its fleet ranges from 8 to 400 tonnes capacity. Commenting about his new crane Neil Davies said, “We have operated Kato Cranes in our fleet for decades and we know the product very well. We also have a long standing relationship with Rivertek. The launch of this New Model Kato 25 tonne city crane with all of its new features was timed perfectly for us as we were looking to include this type of crane in our fleet renewal programme.”

From Rivertek,  Ivan Bolster commented, “We are delighted to deliver this new model Kato 25 tonne city crane to Malcolm, Neil and the Team at Davies and continue the long running relationship.

”Since their launch this fully loaded crane boasting a Stage V engine, 29 metre main boom, 8.2 metre hydraulic fly and 7.5 tonnne searcher hook have been very well received.”
