The Milton Keynes, UK-based powered access specialist has taken delivery of one of the first Hinowa Lightlift 15.70 Lithium machines in the UK. This 15m crawler mounted boom has compact dimensions and very low ground pressure. Coupled with the lithium-ion power train, this makes it ideal for working in shopping centres, atriums, and historic buildings.

Julie Hennessy, business development manager at Elavation, said, “The Lithium models are increasingly popular with our customer base, due to their emissions-free operation. One of the 15.70’s first jobs was in a church, which is a great example of its specialist capabilities.

Elavation has steadily grown its portfolio of Hinowa tracked booms over the past few years, which includes the 14m Hinowa Goldlift 14.70 and 20m Hinowa Lightlift 20.10 Lithium, as well as the 26m Hinowa Lightlift 26.14.

APS, the official UK distributor for Hinowa’s full range of tracked access platforms, mini-dumpers and compact site handling equipment, supplied all of Elavation’s tracked booms.

The 15.70 is the fourth model in Hinowa’s Lightlift Performance IIIs range. Providing a 15.4m working height and an outreach of 6.6m, the Hinowa 15.70 can also work flush with a wall. With a safe working load of 230kg, it can lift two people plus tools without restriction throughout its entire working envelope.
