The company will examine the viability of a project on the highway between the state of Tamil Nadu and the territory of Puducherry, as well as the link road between the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Goa.

The contract requires the engineering firm to initially examine the projects from a technical, economic and financial perspective.

The next phase will be the preparation of design work and the assessment of funding options.

Kshitish Nadgauda, MD of Louis Berger in Asia, said, “These projects will make the roads wider, safer and more efficient while protecting the environment and enabling local and regional economic development.”
