Kögel appoints regional sales manager

German manufacturer Kögel has appointed Krystian Smolski as its new sales manager for the Poland, Czech Republic and Baltic markets.

Born in Poland, Smolski will be tasked with picking up the pace of its support to its local customers, as well as concentrating on key accounts. The company said he was extremely familiar with the industry and market. Smolski will report directly to the Kögel managing director Massimo Dodoni.

The 37-year-old has previously held roles at leading international manufacturers of trailer axles, as well as working in various sales positions for major spare parts and accessories dealers.

Kögel manufactures a range of trailers for the construction industry, as well as offering a range of spare parts. It is headquartered in Burtenbach.

Managing director, Dodoni, said, “The appointment of Krystian Smolski as head of sales for north-eastern Europe is a response to greatly increased demand in this region.

“In north-eastern Europe in particular, we see further opportunities for substantial growth in the next few years.”
