Kubota UK appoints business development manager

Kubota UK has appointed Glen Hampson as its new business development manager for the construction division.

Hampson, who has 15 years of experience in the sector, previously held the position of channel development manager for Doosan Bobcat and the regional distribution manager for Caterpillar’s mid-tier earthmoving division in the Middle East and Africa.

He will be responsible for maintaining and building on the company’s position in the compact construction equipment sector, working in partnership with Kubota’s key national accounts and its independent dealer network across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

Kazunari Shimokawa, interim managing director of Kubota UK, said, “This is an exciting appointment for Kubota UK as we look to raise the bar in the construction sector. Our goal is to continue to drive the brand forward so it is essential we have the right people in place to help us do this.

“Glen will play a critical role in helping us achieve our commercial objectives and I wish him every success in his role.”
