A new conference for the growing rental market in Turkey, Rental Turkey, will be held in Istanbul on 29 March 2018.

Organised by APA Publishing, KHL Group and IMDER-ISDER - Turkey’s two major associations for construction, material handling and rental - the conference will feature experts on rental from outside Turkey as well as senior figures from the domestic market. The event will provide delegates with key information on market trends, best-practice rental management advice and case studies.

Rental Turkey will cover the full scope of equipment rental, including aerial platforms, earthmoving, material handling/forklifts, power generation and small tools.

Reyhan Uğurlu Yücel, President of ISDER’s Rental Committee and Managing Director of Universal handlers, said ISDER and IMDER were very pleased to be co-organising the new event; “Turkey’s equipment rental industry is growing and becoming increasingly professional, but we can still learn from others, particularly from markets where rental has been well established for many decades.

Rental Turkey will gives delegates access to some of the foremost experts on rental from outside Turkey as well as domestic rental figures. That will only help our rental businesses to grow, better serve their customers, and increase their profitability.”

Turkey has had an active rental market for many decades, particularly in forklift truck rentals, but the rental trend is becoming more popular also in construction equipment, and particularly in aerial platforms. Many of the country’s major construction equipment distributors are establishing equipment rental divisions.

More details on the conference programme will be made available in the coming months, and the conference website will be going live soon.

The conference is supported by International Rental News (IRN) and Access International magazines.
