Johann Sailer, managing director of German mast climber manufacturer Geda

Johann Sailer, managing director of German mast climber manufacturer Geda, will be the next president of the CECE. CECE is the organisation representing and promoting the European Construction Equipment and related industries, which co-ordinates the views of national associations and their members by influencing the European/national institutions and other organisations worldwide to achieve a fair competitive environment via harmonised standards and regulations.

Geda has been an active member of CECE since 1998, Mr Sailer has been part of the presidency since 2005 and since last year vice president. He has been the chairman of section VI Vertical Access Equipment for more than eight years.

Mr Sailer will take over the presidency next year at the annual Congress held in October 2011.
