The UpRight S1930E is the first of a range of global scissors lifts. In the new orange and white livery it replaces the MX19 micro-scissor.

UpRight Powered Access, has started production of the first machine in a new global family of scissor lifts.

The UpRight S1930E replaces the MX19, the micro-scissor, which UpRight launched in 1994. The new model delivers a working height of up to 7.8m and a platform capacity of 227kg. Compact and manoeuvrable, the S1930E has an inside turning radius of less than 0.13 m and can achieve 25% gradeability.

Richard Tindale, UpRight's sales and marketing director, said, "The MX19 has been part of the core UpRight range for many years and is highly regarded all over the world.

"The new S1930E is a fitting successor to the MX19. It will carry forward our values of delivering cost-effective, simple machines that are robust and very easy to maintain."

The S1930E is 0.76m wide, so it can pass through a standard European doorway. Standard features include a 0.91m easy roll-out deck extension for additional reach and a simplified mechanical pothole protection system.

UpRight's S1930E will be the company's first production electric scissor to feature a new proportional control system. This incorporates on-board diagnostics and an improved console, designed for ease of operation and simple, low cost maintenance. The S1930E is also one of the first machines produced in UpRight's new orange and white livery - the chassis and platform are orange; the scissor stack is white.

The last MX19 will roll off the production lines at UpRight's Vigo Centre headquarters in the UK in April and is already promised to a customer. UpRight will fulfil all future orders for micro-scissors with the new S1930E.
