UK access equipment supplier Bella Access has added two new Height Rider 17 Narrows to its fleet of Niftylift work platforms.

The Staffordshire-based rental firm has already put its new HR17Ns out to use, according to managing director Jason Dalmas.

"Being a new company, we have been able to plan our fleet ‘afresh' and I've had time to study which machines got the best hire rate and utilisation. Initially we bought new and refurbished HR15Ns and when these proved successful we ordered some HR17Ns, all of course bi-energy. These two will be going straight out on reasonable length hires," said Mr Dalmas.

The Niftylift HR17N offers a working height of 17.2m and a working outreach of 9.6m. The vehicle is 1.5m wide and is powered from bi-energy power (diesel and battery).

In addition to the Niftylift work platforms, Bella Access also provide scissor lifts and boom lifts as part of their rental fleet.
