Conjet is investing €1 million extending its headquarters manufacturing facilities, which will boost capacity and reduce assembly times.

Conjet , a manufacturer of remotely operated high-pressure water jetting hydro-demolition machines, is investing € 1 million in its manufacturing headquarters in order to meet growing demand for its equipment.

The statement said the new extension at the factory in Haninge, 20km south of Stockholm, Sweden, will more than double the assembly area and will house a larger parts storage area.

Carl Stromdahl, president of Conjet said, "The new 1000 m2 extension, which we started in March and expect to be complete by October 2008, is needed to cater for the increasing demand worldwide for our hydro-demolition equipment.

"The extra space will enable us to boost our capacity and considerably reduce our assembly times with the same number of employees and fulfil the needs of the future," he added.

The company is currently working on several developments to further extend its product range, which currently includes a range of Robots and Jetframes together with tailor made hydro-demolition units, which can connect to Conjet Powerpacks or other high pressure water pumps.
