Demolishing The Moor

10 April 2008

UK Contractor Cuddy Group is currently clearing 15,000 m2 (528,000 ft2) of multi-storey buildings on The Moor site in Sheffield, in the north of England, to make way for a new retail, office and residential development using a high reach rig and standard excavators. The company estimates that 20,000 tonnes of demolition debris will result from the soft strip and demolition of the buildings, of which it expects to recycle an impressive 99 % on the site.
