Electric mini crane at GGR open day

06 September 2010

Compact crane supplier GGR Group will demonstrate a prototype of its battery-powered mini crane at its open day in the UK on Friday 10 September.

The event will take place at the company's Long Crendon depot. GGR says it is expecting hundreds of visitors, following similar events at its North and South England facilities.

GGR's full range of lifting equipment will be on display, including the prototype battery powered mini crane, the new UNIC URW-245 mini crane and the new GGR Cladding range.

Gill Riley, GGR Group managing director said, "We've always enjoyed great success with our open days. The GGR-developed battery crane should attract a fair few visitors this year. In fact, in the past we've had quite a few competitors eager to see our latest developments, but as nice as it is to catch up with a competitor, this year we're strictly customers and prospects only."

The team will be on hand to provide advice on current and future project and training requirements. Refreshments will be provided all day, including a lunchtime barbeque.
