1000th Genie GS-1330m Scissor Lift

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) is set to celebarte the production of the 1,000th Genie GS-1330m scissor lift in its China production plant, based in Changzhou.

Responding to worldwide demand for compact maneuverability in low level access and space and weight restricted applications, the Genie GS-1330m scissor lift was introduced globally in early 2019. The Genie GS-1330m scissor lift offers a maximum platform height of 12.8 ft (3.9 m) and a maximum working height of 18.8 ft (5.9 m), with a 2-person, 500-lb (227 kg) capacity, and weighing in at only 1,962 lb (889 kg). It is equipped with all-electric DC drive system and zero-emissions operation. 

“Thanks to our world-class Lean management practices, the Changzhou plant is able to utilize its production capacity to the maximum extent to better support the demand for this popular product from Terex AWP customers around the world,” said Terex AWP Changzhou operations director Johnny Tan.

“The upcoming production of 1,000th Genie GS-1330m scissor lift represents a breakthrough of local manufacturing in China and R&D capacity of Genie worldwide.
