Rental company Gertzen Krane & Transporte, based in Emsland, Germany, has taken delivery of a new 750 tonne Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 telescopic wheeled mobile crane.

The 9-axle LTM 1750-9.1 can travel with its telescopic boom on board. It was chosen by Gertzen Krane for work in wind power, industrial and chemicals sectors, a spokesperson said.

Wolfgang Gertzen, owner, said, “For us the LTM 1750-9.1 is a sensible addition to our large cranes between the LTM 1500-8.1 and the LR 1600/2 crawler crane. We decided to buy the LTM 1750-9.1 to enable us to meet the increased requirements of our customers. This Liebherr crane is suitable for universal use.

“The crane is highly flexible and mobile. Its variable axle loads are a real bonus. Being able to drive it at a gross weight of just 99 tonnes, the simple road licence is a massive benefit. In addition, like the LTM 1500-8.1 it does not need many transport units and the crane can be set up quickly,” Gertzen added.
