20 March 2008

Site dumpers are popular pieces of equipment in the UK and Ireland, and interest is beginning to be expressed in other European countries. The 1 tonne sector makes up some 25% of sales in the site dumper's established markers. The Barford SX1.2 Hi-Loda is the company's first ever foray into this popular market segment, and the company claims it will have one of the highest specifications of any competing machines in this class. It is powered by a 25 hp (18.6 kW) Perkins diesel that delivers power to four-wheel hydrostatic drive motors and has a 1.75 (5.75 ft) tipping height. Carrying capacity is 1,200 kg (2,640 lb).
