Hitachi keeps it simple

20 April 2015

Hitachi told D&Ri at Intermat that it is currently working on a new concept for its machine offering for the demolition sector. Called ‘Simple Demolition’, this is based around the use of standard carriers equipped with a straight boom with a pin height in the region of 13 m (42 ft).

The development process is ongoing and at this stage the company did not want to share machine specifications or other details, but Hitachi’s Martin Visser told D&Ri that we can expect to see the first machine by the end 2015 into 2016. D&Ri will report further on the concept later this year once the development process has reached a point where more detail can be released.
