Integration

Following the August 2008 acquisition of Moxy by Doosan Infracore, the Norwegian ADT manufacturer has undergone an "extremely successful reorganisation" according to John Potter, chief of manufacturing.

"Our old sales dealerships have been revamped and the comprehensive Doosan sales network is now coming on-line," said Mr Potter. "The previous owners of Moxy did a sterling job, but Doosan is of a completely different scale and we already have plans for huge expansions of our market position, service effectiveness and customer support."

Doosan Moxy is looking to the future with optimism. "For the next generation models, coinciding with Stage IIIB emissions compliance, we will introduce a more automotive style interior and compact electronic control systems," said Harry Stuart, design manager.

"We see haulers of the future getting larger and through becoming part of Doosan Infracore, we will manufacture ADTs that compliment the Doosan range of excavators and loaders as well as continuing to meet the needs of our loyal Moxy customers," said Mr Stuart.

"Comfort and access have been key features of Moxy for years. We have developed machines that offer exceptional comfort and stability and we will continue to do so as Doosan Moxy," said Eric Westra, European sales manager.

"Doosan Moxy is committed to maintaining a high value product that offers the best possible cost saving to our customers while integrating the latest technology. Improving our standards and developing our products is an ongoing process, through which we aim to provide the best for our customers," concluded Mr Westra.
