Laso opens in Germany

Portuguese specialized transport company Laso Transportes SA has opened a subsidiary in Germany.

Laso Deutschland is in Konradsreuth, Bavaria. It was chosen as a location which “aims to promote proximity to our customers and to take advantage of the operational advantages of being represented in Northern Europe,” said Pedro Pedrosa, chairman of the board of directors at Laso.

Laso’s geographic expansion began in 2009 when it opened a branch in Spain. After that it opened GTE in Mozambique, Laso Maroc and Laso Senegal. It has ambitions to continue expanding into a global transport company.
