US manufacturer Lift-A-Loft has developed a new high capacity maintenance truck, capable of lifting 4.5t. The new TMHCL truck-mounted scissor lift can elevate its capacity load to 6m in the air.

Primarily designed for bridge repair and inspection, the TMHCL's powered side extensions can be used to create a working area that measures 6m long by 3.5m wide.

The unit can be mounted on a variety of commercial chassis and can be equipped with many different tools and options. The first unit to come off the production line was mounted on a chassis with a full crew cab.

The TMHCL includes an on-board compressor, power inverter and LED lighting. It is fitted with a rear-mounted tail lift and front walk up steps.

In other news, Lift-A-Loft recently shipped another of its truck-mounted lifts to Mongolia following a deal with the Oyu Tolgoi mining operation, brokered by Construction Trucks and Equipment (CTE) of Arizona.

The TMX 32-15 will be used by the mine operators to help maintain large mining equipment including loaders. The unit offers 1.4 tonnes of capacity and can elevate to a height of 10 m.

CTE supplied a freight-liner chassis with crew cab for this project. CTE also equipped the truck with a hydraulic generator and oil cooler.
