Powered by two motors and compatible with excavators in 30 to 45 t range, the new model is described by the manufacturer as the “big sister” of its MB-HDS range.

The MB-HDS523 shafts screener is designed for use on “demanding construction sites” and is suitable for excavating, earthmoving, large trenching and quarrying applications.

Offering a high productivity rate, it is the only HDS unit with five shafts and features a V Shaft System that provides a simultaneous dual screening effect.

The model comprises a concealed comb that allows material to enter and flow through the rotors without jamming, and comes with a removable front upper casing. MB Crusher said this means the attachment benefits from a greater closing angle for increased production.

The shafts screener bucket is equipped with a centralized greasing system for easy maintenance.

Like other models in the range, the shafts of the MB-HDS523 can be replaced onsite in just a few minutes.

According to the manufacturer, its patented design of its rotor system also allows the bucket’s rotors to be removed and repositioned.

MB Crusher said, “The parts that are subject to wear are protected by reinforced Hardox steel slab, and the bracket and frame are also thicker, making it a well-performing machine.”
